About The Mix

All tracks in “Ultradeep Ambient” are taken from the last true refuge of Underground House, net labels, the titles used are released via creative commons licensing, this for me has been a return to one my spiritual homes.
As Silverado and Marco52 I’ve been involved in the .net label music scene for many years. We are still able to release music, free to the end user, and free of the commercial restrictions imposed on mainstream artists. The motivation is music, not profit, fulfilment through creation and community.
Diversity in the creative commons sphere has opened up music creation and distribution options for many artists, whilst it is inevitable some will move on to commercial success, it is also true that many who do find commercial viability, such as Martin Donath, Christoph Schindling, also continue to release via .net labels, recognising the value and pertinence of this format. I include links to the .net labels used in this mix, what you will find there is enormous energy, optimism and quality.
