Ollie Brooke's Profile PicPretty much just wanted to do a straight up deep soulful mix and this came out.
No pre planning, probably not as tight as it could have been, especially the mix into the Kerri Chandler track (thanks Kibbles!) but overall I'm pretty happy with this mix - quite emotive and there's a few underlying messages there that pretty much sum up my life ethos, i.e. all the messages in all the track are very close to me or I can identify strongly with the sentiment.

It's so refreshing to hear joyful , hopeful sounds like this. Ollie's a cool frude who knows where his towel's at. An accomplished sond that evokes confidence and a rejoycing in all that life has to offer. Atypical and unangsty. Thanks cheering me up, or as Iggy Pop said " I feel alright!"

Just finished listening to this one, another quality mix from you Ollie. Alwasy tracks selection and flow is spot on. Really liked the feel of the first half of the mix great tunes used specially when the Kerri track hit it was awesome. The other half of the mix was definatlly more vocal soulful based but the tunes were still on par. Mixing was good dont know were you got the "mix could've been more tight" from but guess everyones their own worst critic. Overall if its deep soulful your after this mix is what you looking for!

Great music in this mix, I really have to say I like the Fresh & Low songs (never heard of them before), also Halo's "This Love" is *very* nice. Well done Ollie, this was just the right soulful sound for me at the right moment.
