About The Mix

Some old and some new. this mix represents a further reinvestigation of some of the prog I was getting into shortly before I moved to Australia.
A lot of the newer stuff I've been getting hold of is very reminiscent of that vibe so combining what I know now with what I knew then is something I'm enjoying - almost like a recalibration of what I like to listen to and play.
I reckon the mix overall is a fairly engaging movement through a number of vibes and sounds and hopefully you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Have to add I really like "Believe" (actually called 'Belleville' I think?!) by Rone as well!

Really love the tracks by Alex Niggemann and Wigald Boning! Nice flow there. Some tracks are a bit too clean/sterile/techy, too much synthie squeezing to meet my taste. However, those two tracks are fantastic!

I'm not gonna rate this one: liked some of the selections but it's not my style. I like that Ollie has breadth and depth in equal measure: that's an example for everyone! But just because he owns the site don't mean y'all gotta five his ass every time either. If any of you tech boys got balls let's see you give Ollie a little what for on occassion, eh?

So you took a step into my playing field (and I must admit I was a little sceptical at first).. but yet a again you've delivered another fine mix, that slowly builds into some truely amazing landscapes with peaks and valleys, the way a true progressive journey should be

. I seriously want to hear you play this stuff live man, whether it's Sunday at the Pier or the closing set at Tonic.. awesome stuff!!

Ollie, i've been listening your mixes for more than a year and i witness your development and how you go further in your every new mix. even if this is dope its a quality one. doesn't make you dull and sleepy. makes you creative and sends you to other dimensions with beautiful feelings. pure quality! you're growing up Ollie. amazing to witness such a thing via music.
