Learn your left from your other left ("Firelflies" gave it away for me).

Nix the gimmicks on "Kissing Stangers" (it worked okay but the song deserves respect and really has magic in spades on its own).

And those are my ONLY two bad things to say about that massive set.

You are a leader Mr. Brooke. Just be yourself, Darling!

A tour-de-force of taste, Olive! I am VERY impressed with selection and bravery in this mix. You defied my expectations of you, this is one of the reasons I believe in you so strongly: you hear with your ears, conncect with your soul, mix with your hands, and keep your brain out of it. This mix is proof. Some prob's with levels for the first twenty minutes (i get some brightness and loudness, minor stuff). Contrary to another opinion, you REALLY grabbed me with first two selections. The very first song I was THRILLED and saying "is this MY Ollie Brooke???" I am a dyed in the wool Brand New Heavies and N'Dea fan so I wanted to hate "Never Stop" but you are dead-on: it's simply a great song taken deeper. "Kissing Strangers" is one of the best (if not THE best) overall tracks from last years crop of winners. DJ Freestyle is my personal hero, so glad to hear that obscure mix he did My "C" drive died, as did one of my cd drives and my speakers: listening to anything has been a chore as I have to put it onto portable and recharge before I can hear it, so I've yet to get a solid runthrough of your whole mix. If I find anything to add I'll be back (like you didn't know that already...).

FANATASTIC AND ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY. THIS IS WHAT GOOD DJ"S DO and a mini-masterpiece in the art of selectiion.

For breadth, scope and giving us a solid and personal slice of Mr. Brooke's Musical Mind this is YOUR BEST.

Ollie what can i say about your mix. The first two tracks i was just wondering. but after that i got into the groove and i could say the rest of the tracks a cool

What can I say, other than you can fault this mix... it has a little bit of everything to satisfy anyones appetite. It start's of funky, get's a little deeper, brushes on some prog, gets soulful and then funky again and the fact that it is live makes it even more that appealing!!
