About This Mix

This mix is the first draft for an internet radio station .
Alot of these tracks are now being called mid tempo house or slo mo house on the net at various blogs so I thought I'd call this mix slo mo & low.
It starts at 108 bpm and takes over 70 minutes to climb to 116bpm. I have put a fair few of these tracks on various mix's over the last year so peeps that have heard my mix;'s might be familiar with a few tunes, and if you haven't heard my stuff wel then welcome to slo mo land.
The mix needs tightening up in various places( I love the computer for that , remember the old days of 1 take ) but overall the track selection and flow is exactly what I was after .
Whilst this is not by definition a true house mix this style is starting to figure in many of the world's leading deep house dj' sets either as an early evening sound or those very late morning dancefloor's.
As always I give thanks to the godfather of Oz house OLIIE BROOKE for giving us all an opportunity to share this music ..

Aside from the few transitions you mentioned (needing tightening), this is yet another great mix. I love the way you construct your sets, with careful ordering of the tracks that makes sense, dictated as much by how two given tracks compliment each other to create something more than their sum during a
transition, as by the mood of the mix and
the DJ's taste. In my listening experience, very few DJs these days go to very great lengths to do that. Your skill at this aspect of mixing coupled with our shared taste in music is why you continue to be my favourite PureHouseMusic.net DJ... so much so that I even misspelled "favorite" just for you
