A pretty basic low-down groove here.. works well, and has an underbelly of quality within it's minimal pallete of sounds. This an example of getting the basics right before going ahead and making epic tunes. Well-produced drums with compressed kick-drums, snares, and claps, a heavy bottom-end bassline, and atmospheric synths, all combine to make this simple rhythmic groove appeal. Dunno when you'd use this in a mix, maybe just to throw on as you're having a ciggarette, or setting up your computer, equipment, whatever.. Loopy and groovy, these chilled beats are soothing.
