Electronic & FunkyTrack Review by kibbles
Germany's Compost Records label is goliath in a few aspects. One being their huge backcatalogue (over 200 releases thus far), the second being their plethora of EDM artists who have had releases on the label (from Robert Owens, to Matt Flores, and Manuel Tur), and the third being in the music itself - there are some real quality epic productions to be found in that backcatalogue. This one on display here, taken from their latest 'Black Label' EP collection, is more on the subtle side, but that's not to say it doesn't have a very upfront, full sound to it. On the contrary, this electronic groove has real presence, with a soundscape that is deep and layered, very funky bass and synth stabs, and refined, interesting drum programming. Definitely a track to drop to let the strokers in the audience you know where it's at. - kibbles
