Former Moloko vocalist, Roisin Murhpy, ventured into the land of solo artist in 2005, releasing her debut album, which was produced by French producer auteur Matthew Herbert. The album was received favourably by fans and critics alike (mainly critics though, as it was a fairly boundary pushing album, musically speaking). Roisin has recently released her second artist album, 'Overpowered', and this time she is reaching out to a wider audience, with some more straight up disco/housey sounds, produced by a variety of artists, including GA's Andy Cato. Roisin is touring Australia later this month, and i shall be seeing her infamous stage antics at the lauded V Festival. Yay for me! Anyways, you're listening to a Herbert remix of Roisin's track 'If we're in love', nabbed from her first album. Subtle, crafty, and gorgeous is how i'd describe what Herbert did with it.
