Sonar Kollektiv continue to surprise me with just how deep and far their taste in quality music runs. Here is a late '07 cut from one third of the group Truby Trio - Roland Appel. Appel released 2 quality EP's on the Sonar label in '07, and has just released a brilliant new EP for '08. Unfortunately due to territory restrictions, us southern dwellers are unable to purchase the EP as yet, but be sure to have a listen here. 'New Love' is a killer cut that is gonna be played at all the quality parties around town, whether it be by funk or disco DJs, or minimal and tech DJs - it will just be played at some point, at some time during the night, at many many of these parties over the next few months: mark my words on that! In the meantime, warm yourselves up with this slightly older cut.. it's a manical excursion through synthesised melodies, akin to the 'Moog Acid' album released by Luke Vibert & Jean Jacques Perrey,
which i previously added to this site here. This music is drenched in HOUSE vibes. Word!
