Cold Winter Away comes with a rich and varied remix pack.
From the minimal and raw original version to DJ Freestyle's soulful slammer to Groovement Inc's deep tech version there's a lot of angles covered here
Dan from The House Inspectors turns out a full bodied funky club remix while Ollie Brooke puts down a deep warm soulful angle. All mixes are fire and all are well worth the listen and purchase.
This release marks the return of the label - delays encountered in waiting on a remix from an unnamed producer who didn't end up meeting the extended deadline. Nevertheless the release pretty much sums up what the label is all about - bringing together the disparate elements of what is pure house music and showing that releases do not need to pigeon hole themselves - enjoy!

Over 12 months in the making this vocal latin house joint finally drops.
Featuring remixes from Groove Assassin, Davidson Opsina, Matt Bandy and Erefaan Pearce it's split over 2 releases.
Ospina and Pearce bring on part 1 with 2 sumptuously deep angles.
Ospina brings a beautiful soulful NYC vibe featuring tight drums coupled with warm luscious pads and excellent vocal programming.
Pearce delivers an opus of his career. Superbly subtle this one really binds the vocal to the drums with a very minimalist yet engaging bass line and plenty of atmospherics.

Dropping later on will be Groove Assassin's and Matt Bandy's mixes.
Groove Assassin dleivery a main room soulful tribal affair. Pounding drums, amazing organ (!) and a tightly wound funky bass line give this one a massive feel while keeping the original vibe in tact making full use of Kylie's amazing vocals and Damon's killer sax solo.

Bandy opts for a slightly deeper angle with strong nu-disco elements. Going off in a totally different key while keeping the vibe alive his suite of mixes are outstanding in their groove and funk.
The original mixes represent a latin vibe with layers of synths providing a strong melodic backdrop upon which sits Kylie's vocals and Damon's sax.
Overall we're VERY excited by this one at PHM and hope you will be too...
