A glance at the promo sheet for this release made one important impression: We should all take the time to find out a little more about the very talented and professional Donn T. Word.



As for the mix: I'm choosing from my soul Matt produced the session and had a hand in all of the mixes (teaming with Leigh Darlow of the Layabouts under the moniker "North Of Center"). The original is gorgeous and a bit sparse, and the North of Center mixes are very streamlined. But Matt's Hood Green treatment has the implied presence of a guardian angel (as does most good "spiritual" house music). I'd say the package is top quality all around. But this is the mix for me.



The lyric instantly brought to mind this:



"Two roads diverged in a wood and I. I took the road less travelled by. And that has made all the difference." (Robert Frost as read to me by my mother many times in my childhood).
