Andy Gates started DJ'ing in November 2006, when he successfully created, organised and promoted his own House/Dance music event brand at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, called 'Bring The House Down'.

'Bring The House Down' instantly became the most popular termly event at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, and remained so for the two academic years (2006/07 & 2007/08) that it ran there. Following on from this success, Andy Gates then held Thursday night 'Bring The House Down' residencies at both the Antelope (350 capacity) and the Litten Tree (now Yates') (550 capacity) in High Wycombe, between June and November 2008, at which point he was given a monthly residency at ClubBoulevard (now Karma) (1000 capacity) in Ealing (London), until April 2009, when ClubBoulevard closed for a refurbishment and changed ownership. Since April 2009, Andy Gates has organised, promoted and DJ'd a number of successful, one-off 'Bring The House Down' events at Sub89 (Reading), The Glasshouse (Lincoln) and Karma (Basingstoke), and following on from a successful 'Bring The House Down' event at Censo Bar (Basingstoke), Andy Gates was offered a weekly residency at Censo Bar (Basingstoke) from September 2010 and currently remains Censo Bar's longest serving weekly resident DJ.

Andy Gates broke onto London's DJ'ing circuit in late 2008 and has since played out at many of London's premiere House music venues, including; Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg, 02 Academy Brixton, The Lightbox and The Whitehouse, whilst holding down residencies for well-renowned London-based House music event brands such as 'Shiva', 'Licked', 'Promised' and 'Twilo', and sharing line-ups with the likes of Fedde le Grand, Mark Knight, The Shapeshifters, Hoxton Whores, ATFC, Grant Nelson, eSQUIRE, Armin Van Buuren, Funkagenda, Marshall Jefferson and Seb Fontaine.

Additional venues Andy Gates has played for one-off events at, elsewhere in the UK, include; NoNo8 (Derby), Sakura (Lincoln), Club Warehouse (Edmonton) & Mango (Reading). Andy Gates also spent Summer 2007 DJ'ing in Kardamena (Kos), whilst playing out at 'Liquid', 'My House' and 'Passion Bar'.Location : High Wycombe, The United Kingdom
